Where is the conference being held?
The venue is being held at Richard Barry Hall on the NDSU downtown campus. Address: 811 2nd Ave N, Fargo, ND 58102.
What are the dates and times of the conference?
The conference dates are Friday and Saturday, September 12 & 13, starting at 8:00AM each date. The Chapter Executive Committee's annual strategic meeting will be held Thursday, September 11.
How do I register? How do I register as an exhibitor?
Attendees may register up to the day of the event by going to our registration website. Vendors may register for exhibitor booths or as vendor attendees at the same website. Registration for exhibitor space will be kept open until spaces are filled.
What does the registration fee include?
Your registration fee includes full access to all conference sessions keynote presentations, and tours. Daily continental breakfast are provided and lunch will be provided on Friday, along with refreshment breaks and networking socials. Attendees will also have access to the exhibitor area and an evening reception with light hors d'oeuvres. Continuing education credits are available, where applicable, and registrants will receive post-conference access to presentation slides and related resources. Please note that some optional events, such as the NDSU football game, may require separate cost.
Are there group discounts or student rates available?
The first 50 student attendees registration is free thanks to a sponsorship by Grondahl Recreation, Inc.
What is the cancellation/refund policy?
For Attendees: In the event that the conference is canceled by organizers, 100% of the registration fee will be refunded. Registrations canceled by the attendee will be fully refunded until August 13. After that date, no refunds will be provided.
For Vendors: In the event that the conference is canceled by organizers, 100% of the registration fee will be refunded. Registrations canceled by the attendee will be fully refunded until September 1st. After that date, no refunds will be provided.
Will continuing education credits (CEUs) be offered?
Yes, CEUs / LACES credits will be available for eligible sessions. To receive credit, attendees must fill out a Claim Credits form for each session they attend. The form can be found on this app and must be submitted by the end of the conference. Please make sure to attend the full session and complete the form accurately to ensure credit eligibility.
Is there parking at the venue?

Are meals provided?
Yes, light breakfast options such as pastries will be available each morning, and lunch will be provided on Friday. Networking socials will also include hors d'oeuvres. Please note that meals are designed to be simple and convenient to support a full schedule of programming. Please notate any dietary restrictions when you register.
What should I wear?
Business casual attire is recommended for all conference events. We suggest dressing in layers, as indoor temperatures may vary. If you plan to participate in any tours or outdoor activities, please wear comfortable shoes and check the weather forecast for appropriate outerwear.
Is the venue accessible?
Yes, Richard H. Barry Hall at North Dakota State University in Fargo is designed to be accessible to individuals with disabilities. The building features accessible entrances, elevators, and restrooms to accommodate mobility needs. Additionally, Barry Hall includes a 280-seat auditorium with extra legroom, enhancing comfort for all attendees.

Will sessions be recorded or livestreamed?
We are still investigating the ability and details for session recording and livestreaming. Please check back closer to the conference date for updates, or contact the planning team if you have specific needs or questions.
What lodging options are available nearby?
Several lodging options are available within a short distance of the conference venue in Downtown Fargo, ranging from boutique hotels to national chains. Hotel Donaldson is the preferred hotel for the conference and has generously provided a limited number of rooms at a discounted rate for attendees.
To book one of these discounted rooms, attendees must identify themselves as part of the Nebraska Dakotas ASLA Chapter group. Reservations must be made no later than August 11 to take advantage of the group rate and room block. We encourage early reservations, as space is limited.
